    A Godsend
Since I joined the army the only competition I've found for grappling is my team leader. He's a 265 lb. oaf who knows just enough to give me a hard time.
We were in the gym this evening, and I noticed a certain soldier in particular. I felt an urge to start talking about grappling and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu loudly with my team leader. He came over and started to us about it. Turns out that he's a purple belt, almost a brown belt.
It gets better. He's on 24/7 response. I'm on 24/7 response. We both have all kinds of free time, and he's here until August. This is truly a sign from a higher power telling me to train.

    King Hoser
Almost every day my team of 3 leave the safety of our FOB (Forward Operating Base) to disarm IEDs and other explosive hazards. My team member almost received an Article 15 (means he loses rank and money) because his sideburns were apparently too long. All of this was started by a command sergeant major who never leaves the safety of the FOB and never will except to go home.

What does a Brother of the Horse do if he loses his remote?

Hey all. I'm still alive. I've been busy for the past six months doing boot camp and the army's preperatory school to the Navy's EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) school. I'll be learning how to blow things up and more importantly how not to blow things up. Or rather, how to make things that are going to blow up to not blow up. The EOD school is in Florida, minutes from the Gulf, and that's where I get to spend the next six months. Whenever you all get cold or snowed in, think about how I'm spending most of the winter in Florida.

Army Combatives is based off of Brazilian Jui-Jitsu, and I have yet to be beaten. The opportunities to show the glory of the Brotherhood are few and far between, but I'm slowly pulling through. I'm far from as strong as I was when I joined the army, but I'm still throwing hosers around. The last time we did combatives they actually put me up against a girl. I was so insulted I put her nasty self in the triangle so she could smell my sweaty crotch. Sadly, the life of an EOD soldier is ridiculously busy so I won't be able to take classes much.

ATTENTION ALL BROTHERS OF THE HORSE
Next Saturday is my birthday. Make sure to increase your hoe power accordingly.

I think I've found a satan with some quality. We were talking about going to King's Island when picking up a binder of mine in Cincinnati.

Show respect to Michael Jackson. He's been through a lot. No one can dance like Michael can. No one can sing like Michael can. Remember when the whole world loved him?

To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women. -Conan when asked "What is best in life?"

Another day in the temple yields another PR.
190x5 on bench. Projected max will be ≥225.

"Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron"
First I'll bring news from the Temple. After running into Brother Brewer at the Temple, we started doing bench. According to plan my last set would be 180 x 4 reps which also happened to be my current PR. So naturally, I planned on breaking plan and setting a new PR.

    PRs this morning:
    165x8 reps
    170x7 reps
    180x4 reps

All three PRs were smashed today with one set.
    180x9 reps!!!!

After the insane set of bench I accomplished my primary mission and power cleaned 150 x 15 reps. A good day. Saturday approaches.

Now, I have a couple theories to explain the workout today. One of which could be the Elleman theorem, and I haven't realized it yet.

1)When a Brother doesn't use his hoe power, it becomes available for use by the the other Brothers.
This would explain our ability to "make up" for Brothers that miss the weight room.

2)When Brothers are in close proximity their hoe power increases.
This would explain the greatness on Saturdays when three Brothers are together.

"I feel as big as a mountain"
I'm really glad I'm in college. It gives me something to do between Saturdays.

I'm now reminded of a PR I set some 20 months ago: 145 x 15 reps on cleans. I think I'll break that tonight or tomorrow.

    Saturday!!!!!!
Another glorious Saturday yielded another PR on bench.
    170 x 7 reps

I was also reintroduced to cleans after 18 months. Soon I'll be breaking PRs on cleans as well.

    Update on PRs
The new workout and diet I'm on is kicking my ass into the best shape I've ever been in. My Power Cleans are approaching their old glory.

    Best Squat PR- 190x11 rep
Best Bench PR- 150x10 reps, 155x8 reps

Apparently Brewer's Law is still in full effect. My brother and I have dedicated ourselves to about 10 hours each week in the temple, hardening ourselves. All in the name of the Brotherhood. May we forever see battle, glory, and honor!!!!

    Finally
Four years after she should have been dead, my grandma finally died. Last August the doctors said she would never see Christmas. In February they said she would never see March. She grew weaker and weaker yet still lived. She grew to weak to eat. After three weeks without eating she was down to 60 pounds. All of her energy was devoted to breathing. At 6:29 Thursday night she grew to weak to breathe. It didn't take long for her heart to stop afterward. When she finally died, she went quite peacefully for which I am very thankful.

Now my concern lies with the living. There will be time for mourning when the war has been won. I must go now and attempt to convert hosers to the cause and destroy those who continue to suck. I predict victory for the Brotherhood.
GLORY AND HONOR TO THE BROTHERHOOD!!!!!!
